Winifred Roberta (Nobles) Seifert

Winifred Roberta Seifert (nee Nobles) died peacefully on April 23, 2026 at the Zilber Family Hospice Center in Wauwatosa. Winifred, known to many as Roberta, was the third daughter of Forrest O. Nobles and Winifred Nobles (nee Boyd) and was born at her grandfather’s homestead, the Byron O. Nobles Farm, on 7 Mile Road in Raymond, Wisconsin, on September 8, 1937. After graduating from West Milwaukee High School, she married William Joseph Seifert in 1958 and moved to Muskego, Wisconsin, where she remained until 1978 when she moved to Milwaukee.

Winifred sang for many years with the Milwaukee Choristers, which took her on singing trips to England, Scotland, Italy and Washington D.C., where she sang for President Reagan at the White House Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. Her love of music and singing never waned and she enjoyed the classics up until her death. Winifred was a secretary and retired at the age of 80 from the Milwaukee Public School System. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. She was especially pleased to attend her grandson’s wedding in Sochi, Russia, in 2019.

Winifred is preceded in death by her sisters Zoa Heimerl (Walter) and Joanne Kuchinski (Albert). She is survived by her sisters Bonnie Meier, (Jay) (previously married to Ernst Marak, Deceased) and Mary (formerly married to Glenn Locke of Minneapolis Kansas). She is further survived by her daughter Lynn Seifert (David), her son Joseph Seifert (Manuchak), her grandsons Gevork Seifert (Evelina), Jivan Seifert, Nashan Seifert and Orlean Seifert. She is further survived by her great-grandson Arman Seifert.

Burial and service will take place at the McPherson Cemetery, 7033 County Highway K in Raymond, Wisconsin, on Monday April 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
