William James Norwood, Sr.

Age 76 years.  Born to life July 12, 1944 in Alden, Alabama son of Walter Norwood and Willie Franks Norwood.  Born to eternal life September 8, 2020 at Luther Manor Hospice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.  Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Thomas) for 53 years.  Dear father of Monica Maria Norwood Nealy, William (Sheila) Norwood, Jr., and Warren (Rita) Norwood.  Loving grandfather of Gabrielle, Rachel, India, Mia, Dajohn, and Rayshawn Norwood. Great Grandfather of Kingston Norwood.  Brother of Cephas (Linda) Clay, Ron "Butch" Collins, Alicia Hayott, and Helen Slater.  Fond uncle of Tamara and Kim Norwood.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation Monday , September 14 at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield from 12:30 PM until the Services at 2:00 PM.   Entombment and Military Honors following services.

Mr. Norwood was a graduate of North Division High School, a United States Air Force Veteran, and a longtime employee at the Ladish Company.
