Volker Lorenz

Volker Lorenz of Brookfield Wisconsin passed into our loving memory on July 28th, 2022. Born May 28th, 1950, in Schötmar, Germany. He became a US citizen in 1962. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 1974 he married Donna Lee Freimuth, and remained her loving husband until her passing in 2013. Together they had two sons Derek Peyton Lorenz, and Dean Johannes Lorenz, whom they loved unconditionally. Throughout his life Volker was devoted to his family and friends. Aside from being a doting father, he was a beloved uncle, and caring brother. Known for his intellect, curiosity, and jovial nature he was often the first place people would go if they had questions on things ranging from math to music. When loved ones needed help he was there without hesitation. His compassion, humor, and knowledge led him to make friends throughout his life. Not all those that loved him laughed at his jokes—yet, everyone will miss his laughter. 

Memorials in Volker's memory can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society.

There will be no formal services for Volker.  Please remember his family in your thoughts and prayers.
