Vernadeen Perry

Born in Waverly, New York on January 11, 1938, the daughter of Raymond Farr and Mildred Howe Farr, Vernadeen passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 14, 2020 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon, Wisconsin. Vernadeen was preceded in death in 2009 by her loving husband of 51 years, Louis Lee Perry, and in 2003 by her dear daughter, Vicki Perry. She is the beloved mother of Rick Perry and Diane (Doug) Kopacz. Vernadeen is the cherished grandma of September (Dave) Casteel, Shawn Kopacz, Ashley (Andy) Perego and Christopher (Cassandra) Kopacz and the proud great-grandma of Emelia Casteel and Autumn Perego. She is also the fond sister of Jack ((Alice) Dunham and Claudia (Robert) Mehalchick. Vernadeen was preceded in death by her siblings, Edward (Jackie) Farr and Ray Farr. She was the special friend and sister-in-law of Karen Mumford. Vernadeen is further survived by her sister-in-law, Corrine Farr, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Vernadeen on Friday, February 21, 2020, from 12:00 Noon until the time of the Celebration of Life at 1:00pm, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. Entombment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Because of Vernadeen's affection and love of elephants, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Milwaukee County Zoo, or the Alzheimer's Association.
