Thomas "Tommy" Hanmer
Tommy passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2026, at the age of 55 years. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Hanmer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Hanmer.
Tommy is also survived by his daughters Brittany and Cherise and his sisters, Patti (Duke) Babic and Barbara Stevenson. He is further survived by his five nephews Gregory and Jeffrey Babic and Paul, Nicholas, and Ryan (Gina) Stevenson, along with great nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Tommy worked as Printing Press Operator for over 25 years, and he took great pride in his craft.
His family held a special place in his heart, and he shared countless treasured moments with them. They will forever hold him in their memories. Tommy had a great love for fishing and being on the water, where he would happily chant “Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy,” a phrase that will echo fondly in the hearts of those who fished by his side. Music was another passion that filled his life with happiness. Some of his favorites were Metallica, Eminem, Motley Crue. Tommy sure knew how to make us laugh and have a great time, always ready with a joke and had an infectious smile.
Tommy will be truly missed by all.
A Memorial Gathering will be held for Tommy on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11:00am until the time of his Celebration of Life & Time of Sharing service at 12:00 Noon, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc., 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218.
