Ronald "Ron" James Martis

Ronald "Ron" Martis, born on August 13th, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in his beloved home on January 24th, 2023, at the age of 78.  Ron, son of Ethel and Frank Martis, is survived by his wife Eileen (nee Filo) and his children Joseph (Sarah) and grandchildren, Franklin and Evelyn, Michael (Rachel) and grandson, Madison, and Patricia (Eric).

Ron graduated from St. Francis Jordan High School and went on to further schooling at MATC. Ron was a proud veteran of the US Military where he was an Aviation's Mechanic in the US Air Force.  

He met his beloved wife, Eileen, and they married on August 7th, 1982. Together, they shared 40 wonderful years of marriage by showing infinite love and devotion to one another. Ron and Eileen built an incredible life together in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin where they raised their loving family. Ron was incredibly passionate about wood-working, mechanics, and all things being handy. He was well known to everyone around him as the guy who could fix anything. 

In his free time, Ron enjoyed days out on the golf course, playing cards, working on his model toy trains, reading about automotives, and mostly just being with his family. He kept incredibly busy (and there was always a project he was working on), but he always found time to make every sporting event or cheer competition that his kids were involved with.    

Visitation will be held for Ron on Friday, January 27th 2023, from 9:30AM - 10:30AM until the time of Mass at 10:30AM, all in the St. Anthony's Catholic Church, N74W13604 Appleton Avenue, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family requested.
