Ronald Lee Gately

Age 81 years.  Born to eternal life August 26, 2023.  Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Arnold).  Dear father of  Lori (Daniel) Lui, Steven (Christina) Gately, and Elisa (Charles) Goes.  Stepfather of Mykl (Suzee) Stanley, James Szaniawski, and Stacie (Scott) Pearson.  Further survived by 12 loving grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday, September 1, 2023 at Good Shepherd Church N88 W17658 Christman Rd, Menomonee Falls from 11:00 AM until the Services at 12:00 Noon.  Interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove on Wednesday, September 6 at 2:00 PM. (Please meet at the cemetery.)

Ron graduated from Steinmetz High School in 1960.  He served his country in the US Air Force in 1963 and 1964.  From 1965 to 1972 Ron was a City of Skokie Police Officer.  In 1973 to 1977 he was the director of Data Processing for the Chicago Transit Authority.  From 1977 to 1985 Ron was the President and Co-owner of Gatepost, Inc. in Palatine, IL, which designed and developed translucent resin art.  From 1986 to 1990 Ron was employed by AMT (Automatic Measurement Technology, Inc.) where he was the Regional Manager of Sales in  a three state area.  From 1991 to 1996 Ron was an account executive with Metropolitan Life.  And lastly, Ron was a valued Manager with TSA (Transportation Security Administration) at General Mitchell Field in Milwaukee.

Ron was also an accomplished musician who played the guitar and bass.  His band was good enough to play as backup band for Dick Clark productions.
