Robert Benjamin Woodhouse

August 28, 1992 - June 4, 2025

Robert Woodhouse, age 32, died peacefully on June 4th 2025 surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with leukodystrophy.

Robert was born and raised in Milwaukee and lived in Wauwatosa. He attended Milwaukee German Immersion School and Milwaukee School of Languages where he became fluent in German. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from UW-Milwaukee. After graduation he worked as a software support specialist.

Robert had passion for animals and the outdoors, and he created a YouTube channel under the pseudonym "Butt Thompson" discussing cryptocurrency, NFTs, politics, sports. His videos of neighborhood squirrels were fan favorites.

Robert will be forever missed by his family, including brother Zachary Woodhouse ( PaShoua ), his mother Shannon Schreier ( Frank ), father Dave Merrill ( Allison Lovgren ), grandfather Stephen Merrill ( Anne Huber ), stepmother Sarah Merrill, and step & half siblings Wyatt Schreier, Elise Merrill, Elliot Merrill, Isaac Standley, Evangeline Standley, aunts Sandy Merrill ( Ed Harloe ), Shevaughn Woodhouse, uncle Ben Merrill, and many friends & extended family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Dennis & JoAnn Woodhouse and Nancy Edwards.

Robert was a truly loving and caring soul and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
