Rev. David Allen Zampino, Sr.
Called home to heaven by his Lord on June 17, 2022, at age 54 years, Fr. Zampino was the beloved husband for 32 years of Michele (nee Soirez) Zampino. He was the loving father of David (Lisa) Jr., Maria (Andrae), Thomas (Anna), Elizabeth “Jack”, John (Jessica), Teresa “Ti”, Philip and Gianna and the cherished grandfather of Grace, Gianna, Giovanni, Charles, and another on the way. He is further survived by his dear parents, Philip and Jean Zampino, his fond siblings, Mark (Mindy) Zampino and Bonnie Zampino; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, godsons and goddaughters, other relatives and countless friends.
Fr. Zampino was ordained a catholic priest on April 15, 2016, and served the parishioners at various parishes in the Milwaukee archdiocese until the time of his passing. Prior to his catholic ordination, Fr. Zampino was an episcopal priest.
Visitation will be held for Fr. Zampino on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm, with additional visitation on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 12:00 Noon until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00pm, all at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, 7109 West Orchard Street, West Allis, Wisconsin 53214, the Most Reverend Jerome E. Listecki, Archbishop of Milwaukee, celebrant.
