Pedro Juan Colon

Age 74 years.  Born to life April 28, 1945 in Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Born to eternal life February 29, 2020 at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon, Wisconsin.  Dear father of Azaria Colon.   Beloved brother of Angel Luiz (Minerva) Gonzalez.  Dear friend and loving companion of Pamela Jaques.  Dear uncle of Tammy (Edwin Rosa) Varela, Yesenia (Carlos Sanchez) Varela, Judy Varela, Belinda (Ancelmo) Mejia, Rosemary Colon, Sonia Colon, Natalie Colon, Angie (Herman Caraballo), Marangely (Luiz) Rivera, and Sonia Gonzalez.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation Monday, March 9, 2020 at Jelacic Funeral Home 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee from 9:30 AM until the Services at 11:00 AM.   Interment following services at 1:00 PM at Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.

Pedro was awarded the Purple Heart while serving his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a college graduate and was a type 1 mechanic with the US Postal Service for many years.  He also loved solving puzzles and was an accomplished ballroom dancer.

Rest in Peace, Pedro and keep on dancing in the next life.
