Patricia "Ronnie" (Magdolen) Dotzauer

Patricia "Ronnie" Dotzauer – 1947 to 2024

Patricia "Ronnie" Dotzauer was a loving wife, caring mother, hard worker, and dedicated friend willing to help any person or animal in need. At just under 5 feet tall, she was one of the feistiest people you could ever have on your side. For her entire life, she always put the needs of others before her own, even as she was fighting her second battle with cancer.  Ronnie died at age 76 in Waukesha, WI on May 6th, 2024. 

She was born in Czechoslovakia in 1947 to Rudolph and Dorothy Magdolen who preceded her in death.  She moved to the United States as a toddler.  At a young age she lost connection with her siblings and was so thrilled to be united with her brother Tony a year ago. 

Ronnie met the love of her life, Dave, when she was 28.  Anyone who knew Ronnie, knew that she really appreciated finding a good bargain.  True to form, she started dating her future husband by exploring area rummage sales together.  Her best bargain lasted for 45 blissful years. 

She was dedicated and had a strong work ethic in her varied roles as a homemaker, waitress, and factory worker. Her warmth and generosity shone brightly with the countless restaurant customers who she often referred to as "sweetie" or "hun".  

Ronnie's legacy is carried on through her beloved children: Jack Anderson (Andrea), Shannon Manske (Ryan), Carrie Searing (Joseph), and David Dotzauer Jr. (Heather). Her nurturing spirit lives on in her 11 cherished grandchildren: Catalina, Aidan, Mackenzie, Hailey, Emery, Tavin, Norel, Ethan, Isabella, Anesa, and Elena.

She made it known that she did not want to be celebrated with a funeral or service in her passing, but simply wanted to be remembered for her warm heart, welcoming spirit, and unconditional love that she shared with others.
