Neil James McCarthy

Passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at age 66 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James R. and Helen R. McCarthy. Neil is survived by his sisters, Genevieve “Genie” McCarthy and Irene McCarthy, his longtime dearest friend, Sandra Jefferson, and other relatives and friends.

Neil held different positions for various companies in Milwaukee having retired from US Bank.

He had diverse interests and was well read. He enjoyed films, music, art, doing crossword puzzles and keeping up with sports.

Neil was an important figure in Danielle Jefferson’s life for all her 21 years. They lost their lives together.

A committal service will be held for Neil on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 10:30am, all at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53216. Burial of his cremains will follow the service.
