Nancy Slovik Carter

On Sunday, September 4, 2022, Nancy Slovik Carter of Fox Point, WI, loving wife and proud mother of three, passed away at age fifty-eight after a long illness. Born to Teresa and Frank Slovik, Nancy graduated from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and the University of North Carolina School of Law. Nancy was a practicing attorney before staying home to raise her children. She loved gardening and animals, especially her dog Josey. Nancy was a kind-hearted person who made friends easily and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Mike, and their three children: Haley (Alex), Ryan and Harrison. Nancy is also survived by her grandchildren (Jane and Jack), siblings (Paul, Linda and Carolyn), stepmother (Ruth) and numerous extended family.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, September 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with the funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m., all at St. Monica Catholic Church, 5681 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Whitefish Bay. Celebration of Life to follow.
