Obituary

In Loving Memory of Nancy Erdmann
1945 – 2025

Nancy Erdmann passed away August 21, 2025 at the age of 80 surrounded by family. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1945. A proud graduate of Messmer High School, Class of 1963, Nancy lived a life defined by a deep love for those around her.

She found joy in helping others, working in patient transport at Froedtert Hospital and later in the Children’s Department at Boston Store. Her warm smile made her a favorite among coworkers and customers alike.

Nancy cherished the holidays—especially Christmas—and treasured time spent with her family. She and her sister Kathy were their brother Terry’s biggest fans, never missing a chance to cheer him on at baseball games. After the passing of her beloved parents, Nancy and her siblings began a cherished tradition: monthly sibling dinners filled with laughter, stories, and the comforting recipes passed down from their mother. Nancy was a wonderful cook, and her meals were a loving tribute to their mother.

A lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, Nancy never missed a game—pom-poms at the ready and heart full of team spirit.

Nancy is survived by her loving children:

Daughter, Colleen (Don) Mier, and grandchildren Adam (Dakota Behnke) Mier, Kelly (Dan Schlender, partner), Erin (Trell Birch, partner), and great-grandson Parker Mier

Son, Scott Mulhern, and grandchildren Emilee (Andrew Loeber, fiancé), Noah Mulhern, son, Brian Mulhern, grandson Travis Geier, and son Jason Robe

She is also survived by her supportive siblings:

Sister, Judy Muenzberg, sister, Kathleen Serena (Dennis Hajewski), brother, Terry Teske (Sarah Nelson, partner), sister, Mary Kay Nicholls. Along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Nancy now joins her husband and soulmate, Ron Erdmann (2012) as well as her parents Harold Teske (1979) and Alma Teske (2003), and her brother-in-law Michael Muenzberg (2020).

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Tobin, Dr. Kelly, and the compassionate ICU staff at Froedtert Hospital for their exceptional care and support.

A private memorial gathering will be held for family on September 6, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rogers Behavioral Health, 34700 Valley Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066, (https://rogersbhfoundation.org/) in support of addiction and mental health services.
