Obituary
Born to life on June 21, 1936, in Munford, Tennessee, the daughter of Scott Thomas and Marie Boyd Thomas, Maxine passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2024, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin at age 88 years.
Maxine leaves to cherish and mourn her passing, her loving children Ezzard Charles (Vinetta) Thomas, Caroline Veasey Williams, Velbert "Pokey" Veasey, Sharon (Alvin) Hegwood and the late Nicole Veasey; in addition to a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held for Maxine on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 11:00am until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon, all at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 4103 North 35th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209, Rev. Erma Winbush, presiding. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
