Age 84 years, Passed away Monday September 2, 2019. Maxine was born on February 2, 1935. She was adopted by Emil and Adela Brandt in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Maxine was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, also in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

Maxine moved to Milwaukee in 1984. She was very active at her church and enjoyed baking and sewing. She is survived by her son John E. Zarling (Nicole), her daughter Jennifer Ceasar, her 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was surrounded by loved ones dear to her.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters Joanne Manke and Judith Zarling; and her former husband John Zarling.

A Memorial Gathering will be held for Maxine on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, from 5:00PM until 5:45PM, with a Memorial Service at 6:00PM, all at Memorial Lutheran Church, 7701 North Green Bay Road, Glendale, Wisconsin 53209, Pastor Lester Spies presiding. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Memorial Lutheran Church, 7701 North green bay Road, Glendale, Wisconsin 53209.
