Maurice Ormond "Reese"

Departed this life on June 17, 2022, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Maurice was born August 23, 1977, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Tommy Ormond and Ella Ormond of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Maurice was known and loved as "Reese". Maurice received his education through the Milwaukee Public School System.

Maurice was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle and friend. Maurice had 4 children whom he loved and adored. Maurie was very funny, and you could count on him to talk about everyone in a loving manner at all of the family gatherings. He loved life and loved his family more.

Maurice was preceded in death by his father Tommy Ormond and his son Semaj Ormond-Lewis. He was also preceded in death by his niece Maijara Ormond.

Maurice is survived by his mother Ella Ormond of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his 3 children, Nychari Lofton, Nylareese Ormond and Kamyrah Spain all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his siblings, Bessie (Boris) Groce, Tommy Ormond, Annie Ormond, Yvonna (Christopher) Ormond-Johns, Tyrone (Jennifer) Ormond and Quintina (Xavier) Ormond-McFadden all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Maurice also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.

Visitation with be held for Maurice on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 9:00AM until the time of Services at 10:00AM all at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc., 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. Interment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
