Mark Matthew Gengler

Mark was born on January 2, 1976.  He left us too soon on August 25, 2024.

He was a special blessing!  

He attended Mother of Good Counsel Grade School, Marquette University High School, and Marquette University, where he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree.  He graduated on a Friday, was interviewed, offered and accepted the job the following Monday.

He worked and lived in Canada and the U.S. and traveled both nationally and internationally for his job.  

He started his own company and worked as a consultant.

He valued his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was non judgmental and always saw the best in people.

He enjoyed food, baseball games, Great America, camping, Boy Scouts, the arts, music, cruising, traveling, hiking, walking, water skiing, grilling food, and the list goes on.

He loved God and his country.

He was quick to give hugs and say, "I love you".

Mark would not want us to grieve his loss.  Trusting his faith, he applied logic to death and saw the promise of everlasting life.  He'd want us to move on and enjoy life.   We thank God for all the years with Mark. 

Visitation Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church 6924 West Lisbon Avenue from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.  Interment St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
