Margaret Barbara (Schwab) Ritter

Born to life on January 12, 1927, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Adam Schwab and Catherine Lechman Schwab. Margaret was born to eternal life in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin on December 29, 2023, at age 96 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Orvin Ritter, the devoted mother of Robert Ritter, and the cherished sister of Helen Bettinger. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Adam and Catherine Schwab, her three brothers Joseph Schwab, Jerome Schwab and Peter Schwab, and her two sisters Catherine Coffey and Marion Schwab. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

"Marge" worked for many years in the patient insurance benefits department at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be held for Margaret on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 10:30am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon, all at Mother of Good Counsel Church, 6924 West Lisbon Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53210. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Orvin at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin at 2:00pm in the afternoon late that day.
