Madelyne Yvonne DePriest

Age 79 years.  Born to life June 28, 1944 in Jackson, Tennessee daughter of Robert McCullough and Myrtle Cooper.  Born to eternal life September 5, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas DePriest, Sr.  Dear mother of Danielle DePriest, Felicia Mason, Thomas DePriest, Jr., and Ayanna DePriest..  Loving sister of Jeffery May and her half brother, Otis Stovall.  Further survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren other family and friends.

Memorial Gathering Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Services at 11:00 AM.

Madelyne was a 1962 graduate of North Division High School.  She later graduated from Spencerian Business College in Milwaukee.  Madelyne was proudly employed at Schlitz Brewery as an administrative assistant for many years.  She also later worked as an administrative assistant at the Milwaukee Urban League and Community Baptist Child Care.
