Laurel Leo Pitel

Passed away April 15, 2021 at the age of 91 years.

Loving husband of Lucille (nee Hoffmann) Pitel. Dear father of Steven (Cathy) Pitel and David Pitel. Proud grandpa of Kevin (Beth) Pitel and Julie Pitel and great grandpa of Aaron Pitel and Nathan Pitel.

Brother of the late Howard (Marilyn) Pitel and the late Eldon (Marceda) Pitel. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Laurel proudly served in the Wisconsin National Guard for 6 years and he was a longtime faithful member of Divinity-Divine Charity Ev. Lutheran Church. He retired from Bliffert Northside Coal & Oil Company after 45 years.

Laurel enjoyed fishing and hunting with family, tending to his vegetable garden and spending time at their cabin.

Visitation will be held for Laurel on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Divinity-Divine Charity Ev. Lutheran Church, 900 E. Henry Clay St., Whitefish Bay, WI from 9:30am until the time of services at 10:30am. Private entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Divinity-Divine Charity Ev. Lutheran Church.
