Kitty Rose Battermann, age 71, of Glendale, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2025, at her home. Kitty was the daughter of Felix Edward Appleby Jr. and Ruth (nee Schmidt) Appleby.
Kitty graduated from Nicolet High School in Glendale and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the family business, Appleby’s Service. Later she became a private contractor as a legal transcriptionist.
Kitty had a flare for decorating and was very proud of her home where she continually updated and maintained with a contemporary style. Kitty also loved her furry friends, always having her cats nearby. Blue, Nikki and Tanya will miss her dearly.
Kitty was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sisters Jane (Dave) Ethington and Patty (John) Edlebeck and her brother Scott (Julie) Appleby along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held for Kitty on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service of remembrance at 11:30 AM, all at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Flowers, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield 53005. Interment to follow.
