With gratitude,

The family of Kevin T Butler

A quiet light, was my brother.

He moved with grace in silent ways,

Unspoken truth through shifting days.

Forgiveness was his gentle art,

A quiet faith within his heart.

We walked such different paths, it’s true,

A vivid me, a muted you.

Yet underneath the separate skies,

A sister's love that never dies.

The silence now is vast and deep,

A hollow promise I must keep.

Forgiven, loved, and with a kiss,

In memory and forever,

You will be missed.
