Kathleen Margaret Schroeder

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 2, 1949 the daughter of Leonard C. and Lois (nee Karel) Houchens, Kathy passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Franciscan Villa in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the age of 70 years. She was the loving and devoted wife of her late husband, George Schroeder, and was also preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Lois and her step-father, Robert Yuenger. Kathy is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Kathy was known as an excellent cook; a feisty person, not easily intimidated by anyone; able to raise with her husband prized orchids and roses; and she was an active volunteer at her church, Greendale Community Church. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held for Kathy on Saturday, June 20, 2020, from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at 1:00pm, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. Pastor David J. Gaeth from Greendale Community Church will be the presider. Burial will follow the service at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
