Karl Thomas Laumer

A current resident of Pewaukee, but formerly of New Berlin, died unexpectedly at his residence on February 20, 2021, at the age of 86 years. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Karl and Marie Laumer who both preceded him in death, Karl married the love of his life, Cathryn (nee Mullarkey) Laumer 61 years ago. Their marriage was blessed with three loving children, Cathryn Laumer (Gary Hooker), Therese “Tracy” Laumer Sodolski (David) and Anne Laumer Niessen (Tim). From those marriages, Karl has two cherished grandchildren, Emily Sodolski and Casey Sodolski, and of course his “granddog” Sophie. He was the dear brother of Howard Laumer (Suzie) and is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Committal prayers with military honors will be held for Karl on August 19, 2021 at 11:00am at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street (Hwy C), Union Grove, Wisconsin 53182.

Karl was a proud Korean War US Army veteran and a dedicated member of Teamsters Local 200, driving truck for many years.
