Let's come together to celebrate the life of Karen Kringle Merklein - a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend.
Born in 1933, Karen grew up in Milwaukee, cared for by her maternal aunt and uncle. She attended UW-M and graduated with a B.A. in English. After marrying her beloved, Richard, she became a homemaker and member of Kingo Lutheran Church. Her life was engaged in her family and her community of faith.
Karen passed away on February 25, 2025.
Join us as we pray and sing, eat a bite of kringle, and raise a cup of coffee in a joyful celebration of the amazing woman she was - endearingly stubborn, fiercely passionate about her causes, and someone whose warmth always shone through
