Dear husband of Jasmine Thompson. Loving son of Linda Thomspon and Johnny Thompson Sr. Further survived by his cherished children, other relatives and friends.
My “lil brother “ Johnny was the joy of my life. He was kind, smart, funny, gentle, giving and loving. He loved his children, wife and his many friends with all his heart and soul. Johnny never said “no” to anyone who needed anything large or small. He loved to drive, cook, clean, laugh, sing and just BE With friends. He loved things that smelled good like his cologne or clothes fresh from the dryer. He loved nice clothes especially in his favorite color red. He loved scary movies and his video games. He loved all kinds of music and to dance. He Loved great food and meals with family and friends. He loved God and studied world religions. Johnny loved technology and graduated in computer science. He Never missed family and friend’s birthdays and his own birthday was his favorite day! People always remarked how wonderful he was and how positive he was about life even after incurring traumatic brain injury. Johnny loved being a truck driver also for One Touch Point in Hartland. Johnny brought indescribable joy, love, laughter and generosity to whoever was blessed enough to be his friend. And he loved meeting people and making new friends every single chance he was given. Johnny made sandwiches for the homeless and gave his prized basketball shoes to people in need. Johnny’s passing leaves a huge hole in all our lives that can never be filled! It leaves us with unbearable grief, yet many deeply heartfelt moments. His young children at home include daughters Zemira and his lil princess Malaya, Kizzy, sons Zion “Zi “, Kingston “King”, and Renzo “Rennie”. All Johnny’s children love him beyond words! Johnny had the hardest life of anyone I knew but he bore his disability with grace, determination, humility and love. My lil brother Johnny Thompson was one of a kind and I miss him more than I can express in words. He is without question the BEST PERSON I HAVE EVER KNOWN! I LOVE YOU MY PRECIOUS LIL BROTHER!!! I pray you can finally rest in peace and all our love! You are and will always be missed deeply in our lives and hearts. Love forever, from your “Big Brother”, Dave and all your friends and family.
