John Alvin Volm

Born to life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 23, 1953, one of eight children of Robert A. and Virginia C. (nee Becker) Volm, John entered the kingdom of heaven on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at age 70 years. 

John was the beloved father of Jacob (Stephanie) Volm, Joseph Volm and the late Joshua Volm and the loving grandfather of Linzy Volm, Justice Jacob Volm, Christian James Volm, Dillon Volm, Hailee Volm. Joey Volm, Abigail Volm, Brookanne Volm, Emit Volm, Kylie Volm, and Riley Volm. He is further survived by his loving siblings, Diane (the late Lupe) Morales, Donna Nealey, Donald (Mary) Volm, Barbara Volm, the late JoAnne Kamish, the late Jerry Volm and Gloria (Kevin) Olson and many other relatives and friends. 

A Memorial Gathering will be held for John on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 10:30am until the time of Committal Prayers at 11:00am, all at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53216. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

John worked various jobs over the years, but his work on a farm was the one he enjoyed and related to the most. He will be truly missed by all.
