John Peter Katris

Age 86 years.  Born to life July 3, 1935 in Tripoli, Greece son of Epamentas Katris and Vasiliki Kourthos Katris.  Born to eternal life November 15, 2021 in West Allis, Wisconsin surrounded by loving family.  Beloved father of daughters Vasiliki "Kiki" Rickerman and Vanessa Buettner; sons Peter, Ernie, and Bill Katris.  Father in law of Seth Rickerman.  Loving grandfather of Scarlett.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family, friends and his faithful canine companion, Charlie.

Visitation Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church 2169 North Wauwatosa Avenue, Wauwatosa from 4:30 PM until the Services at 5:00 PM.  Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Stone Lake, Wisconsin.

Mr. Katris was a wonderful chef and owner/operator of various restaurants in the Milwaukee area throughout his lifetime.  He enjoyed being with his beautiful granddaughter, Scarlett.   John enjoyed traveling, going to Greece, Florida and other destinations.  He also loved Northern Wisconsin having settled there for many years.
