James Dennis Smith

Born to life on February 25, 1941 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Ruth Reasby and Woodrow "Zeke" Jones, James passed away on January 13, 2021 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn (nee Maki) Smith; his devoted sons, James Dennis Smith, Jr. and Andrew Jac Smith; and his loving sister, Sharon Allen. James was preceded in death by his dear parents, Ruth Baker and Zeke Jones and his fond brother, Clarence Smith. He is survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

James loved to fish with family and friends, and he was a proud US Army veteran.

Visitation will be held for James on Monday, January 18, 2021, from 11:00am until the time of services at 1:00pm, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218, Pastor Henry Stenzel presiding. Interment preceded by military honors will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
