James Francis Colores, Jr.
Born to life on June 30, 1979, in Wisconsin, the son of James Colores, Sr. and Joan Kay Oemig, James was born to eternal life very unexpectedly on January 18, 2022, at the age of 42 years.
James was preceded in death by his mother Joan in 2021. He is survived by his dear father James Colores, Sr.; his beloved brothers, Joe (Katelynn) Baneck and Justin Baneck and his sister, Jessica Colores; his cherished nieces and nephews, Annalyn, Joseph Jr., Breyson, Savannah, Ezekiel, Ava, Jeremiah and Javaya; his fond aunt, Lorraine Oemig and uncle, Harold Oemig; and many other relatives and friends.
After graduating high school, James’ passion for working on cars lead him to attend Milwaukee Area Technical College and study automotive repair. At his time of passing, James was working at Grede Foundry as a Maintenance Mechanic.
James was a fighter; he was a leukemia cancer survivor and a bone marrow transplant recipient. These setbacks never slowed him down. He was just starting to enjoy playing golf and his expertise at paintball will be sorely missed by all who battled with him in the past.
Visitation will be held for James on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 10am until the time of Services at 12:00 Noon, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218.
Please remember James in your prayers.
