Gerald D.L.Taylor, Sr.

Age 74 years.  Passed away January 31, 2026, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.  Born in Chicago, son of D.L. Taylor and Sally O'Connor. Gerald was preceded in death by his first wife Rosetta Taylor, his mother Sally Taylor, his father DL Taylor, his son LaMar Banks, his granddaughter Kelicia Juanita Carridine, grandson Davion Taylor and niece Briyantae Taylor.  Gerald is survived by his present wife Armandia Taylor, daughter Juanita (Anthony Johnson) Taylor, sons Derrick (Denise) Banks, Christopher Taylor and Gerald Taylor, Jr.  Further survived by his grandchildren Krystle Rosetta Austin (husband Deontray Sr.), Jaheir Gerald Austin (Gerald III), Kamal Taylor, Kichaundra Carridine, Destinee Rosetta Taylor, Aubrey Rose Gunn, Madden Christopher Gunn, Arianna Banks-Dwinell (husband Jacob), Olivia Banks, Jeremiah Taylor, Teagan Taylor, LaMarr Jr.  (wife Felicia) Banks, Athena Banks, Alex Banks and Liya (wife of LaMarr Sr.) Banks and his sister, Valarie Merriweather.

Visitation Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Jelacic Funeral Home 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee from 12:00 Noon until the Services at 1:00 PM.

Mr. Taylor was employed for many years as a Bus Driver with the Milwaukee County Transit system.
