Born to life in Leona, Wisconsin, on April 2, 1953, the daughter of John Stage, Jr. and Carmel (nee Jewel) Stage, Frances was born to eternal life on February 2, 2025, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was 71 years old.
Frances was a dedicated and devoted mother to her four children, her six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making puzzles, reading, and baking, especially many varieties of Christmas cookies (with the help of her children) and her delicious homemade pizzas were a favorite of her family. She will be remembered for making all holidays a “big deal” for her family.
With her associate degree in hand, Frances ended up working as a medical records clerk at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where she interacted with staff at both the college and at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital.
Frances is survived by her loving children, Cathleen (Gordon) Buzzell, Ronald Coon, Cynthia (Brian) Dashner and Carriann Rychecky. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey Greenert (Mariah Wydeck), Zachery Greenert (Cecilia Rooney), Jayson Greenert, Julie Dashner, Mariann Dashner and Matthew Rychecky. Frances is further survived by her beloved mother, Carmel Stage, and her dear brothers, Joseph Stage and Jeffrey Stage, along with six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John Stage, Jr, and her brother, Harold Stage.
Visitation will be held for Frances on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 10:00am until the time of services at 12:00 Noon, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc., 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. Burial will take place at a later time at St. Ambrose Cemetery in Wabeno, Wisconsin.
