Fannie Kate Dunlap
Born on January 28, 1934, in Mt. Carmel, South Carolina, the cherished daughter of Archie Dunlap and Ruby Simmons Dunlap, Fannie transitioned to her Lord surrounded by loving family on November 5, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia, at age 91 years.
A long time Milwaukee, Wisconsin area resident, Fannie worked for decades as a chef, with an expertise in pastries, at Jack Pandl's Whitefish Bay Inn prior to her retirement. The kindness, empathy and calm she showed toward others, and the class and dignity she always carried herself with, were an example for her family and those privileged and lucky enough to call her friend. These traits exemplified the special and wonderful person she was. She will be sorely missed but her memory will live on forever in the hearts and minds of those who mourn her passing.
Fannie is survived by her loving children, Barbara Dunlap and Larry Dunlap, and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held for Fannie on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until the time of her home going Memorial Service at 1:00pm, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc., 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218.
