Evelyn E. Featherstone (nee Grant)

November 4, 1944 - October 6, 2020

Beloved wife of the late Albert "Jack" Featherstone. Loving mother of Dawn Grant and devoted grandmother of Jasmine Grant.

Evelyn was the first born child to Catherine Grant and her husband Alfornia Grant. She has 7 siblings. Her parents moved from South Carolina to Milwaukee to start their family.

Evelyn received her formal education in the Milwaukee Public Schools system and graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant and retired as a hospice nurse. After her retirement she was an active member of several bowling leagues, a hobby she picked up from her husband. She really enjoyed it.

Evelyn was a loving and giving person. She knew many people throughout her life. She was very social. She will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial visitation will be held for Evelyn on Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 11am until the time of services at 12:00 Noon, all at Redemption Lutheran Church, 5641 North 68th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. There will not be a repast after the service.
