Betty Boeck, beloved wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and devoted follower of Christ, passed away peacefully on Sept 16, 2024. She was the dearest wife for 64 years of the late Don, who preceded her in death in 2017. Betty was the loving mom of the late Dave (Beth) Boeck, Dan (Laura) Boeck, Dennis (the late Loretta) Boeck, Dale (Janice) Boeck, Dean (Becky) Boeck, Debbie (Dick) Offutt and Darrell (Jill) Boeck and the cherished grandma of Jason (Kendra), Susan (Alex), Joe (Gloria), Matt (Sara), Andrew, Lauren (Jereme), Sara (Craig), Brandon (Anna), Stephanie, Bradley (Erin), Adam and Brady. She is further survived by her sister, Sally (Fred) Miller, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Betty's life was filled with faith and family. From a young age, Betty felt a close connection to her faith. She met the love of her life, Don. Together, they embraced God's plan with the dreams of having a large family. They were blessed with seven children, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Betty's faith was her guiding light. She served her church as an organist and choir director and taught piano lessons to many students over the years. Her desire to share the faith extended beyond music; Betty made hundreds of rosaries, donating them to missions around the world. In retirement, Betty and Don enjoyed family camping and spending a few winter months in the south.
Her devotion to the rosary led her to start a rosary night at her retirement community where she and fellow residents gathered weekly to pray together. As she grew older, Betty often spoke of heaven with wonder and hope, reflecting on the thought of being reunited with her loved ones.
Above all, Betty cherished her family. Her time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was truly some of the best days of her life, filled with laughter, stories, and love.
Visitation will be held for Betty on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9:00am until 10:45am with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00am, all at St. Leonard Catholic Church, W173S7743 Westwood Drive, Muskego, Wisconsin 53150. Interment of Betty next to her husband Don at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please have a Catholic Mass said for Betty and for the conversion of sinners.
