Donald Arthur Brodhagen
Born on January 21, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of William Brodhagen and Elizabeth Filo Brodhagen, Don passed away peacefully on July 20, 2022, in Glendale, Wisconsin at age 84 years. He was preceded in death in 2014 by his beloved and cherished wife Marguerite Marie-Antoinette Dutasta Brodhagen and in 2018 by his oldest son John-Paul David Brodhagen. Don is survived by his devoted caretaking son Michael Brodhagen and his dear sister, Janet Lee Brodhagen. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Don was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a 1956 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School. After high school, he proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Following his military service, Don became an electrician and worked for many years at Pieper Power electrical contractor company. Don was a long-time member of North Trinity Lutheran Church, which became Loving Shepherd Lutheran Church, where he attended services until his final days. He mostly was a devoted husband, father and brother, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral services were held for Don on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 1:30pm in the chapel at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Pastor Thomas Fischer from Loving Shepherd Lutheran Church officiated. Burial at Graceland Cemetery followed the service.
Don will be truly missed by all who knew him.
