David Jurs was born in Plymouth Wisconsin on September 19, 1932, son of Ben and Vivian Jurs.
Beloved husband, father, and grandfather...David passed peacefully to eternal life surrounded by his family on August 20, 2022, in Cedarburg Wisconsin at the age of 90.
David and Barbara (Skelton) were married for 67 years, and together they raised their three daughters in a loving home nestled in the country. Retired early, together he and Barbara enjoyed their home in Arizona and spent summers in WI with their kids. David is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, his loving daughters Debra Kulow (Ken) and Elizabeth George (Ken); his loving grandchildren Lindsey (James) and McKayley; his cherished great grandchildren Marlee and Maxon; and other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his sisters Janice and Kay and his daughter Karen Rachlis (Ken).
David was proud to serve his country as a United States Air Force veteran, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant as well as serving in the National Guard. He worked later as an Operating Engineer. David was also the MVP football champ at Plymouth HS.
His greatest joy was spending time with his wife and family, golfing, fishing and reading together with his Grandkids.
His smile was contagious, and his humor kept his family laughing, which he reminded us daily was the best medicine!
