Darlene Ann Majerus

Residence Hartford, WI.  Age 76 years.  Born to life July 26, 1949, in Milwaukee, daughter of John J. Jelacic, Jr. and Mary Martinich Jelacic.  Passed away peacefully January 19, 2026, at Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI surrounded by loving family.  Beloved wife of 52 years of the late Henry Majerus, Jr. who passed away January 13, 2021.  Dear mother of Henry John (Julie) Majerus and Sandra (Allen) Mitchell.  Loving grandmother of Amanda (Nickolas) Vanderlinden, Tyler Majerus, Ryan Majerus, Sarah (Joshua) Belli and Kyle Mitchell.  Great grandmother "Gigi" to Aria, Ava and Amelia Vanderlinden and Senna Belli.  Dear sister of the late Kristine Stephenson, Deborah Jelacic, John (Sandra) Jelacic,  Kenneth Jelacic, and Mary Ann (Tom) Anderson. Sister-in-law to the late John (Diane) Majerus, the late Edward (Donna) Majerus, Janet Swecker, and the late Danny Majerus. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, special Aunt Helen Bahr, and many dear friends.

Darlene enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Breakfast and lunch dates with Sandy and talks with Henry John.

Darlene also loved gambling trips to Michigan, reading, going to the movies and musicals, watching Netflix, and going to lunch with her friend groups (The 49ers and Kohls).  She also enjoyed sitting outside with her wonderful neighbors.

Visitation will be held for Darlene on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 9:30am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, all at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12130 West Center Street, Wauwatosa, WI.  Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
