Danny Paul Sternig

Age 71 years. Passed away December 5, 2020 due to the Covid-19 virus. Preceded in death by his parents Ignatius and Jean (nee Baughan) Sternig and his son Todd. Survived by his lifelong friend and soulmate, Debbie Marshall, sons Timothy and Anthony (Priscilla) Sternig. Dear brother of David (Mary), Doug (Valimae), Gail (Terry) Carle and Dean (Nancy) Sternig. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Danny was a graduate of Marquette University High School (Class of 1967) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

He retired from Milwaukee County as a Juvenile Probation Officer.

Danny was also a longtime basketball coach and teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

To quote his favorite artist, Danny is now " Knock, Knock, Knocking on Heaven's Door".
