Dale Richard Hallio
Born to life on September 7, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Orville and Betty (nee Springer) Hallio, Dale was born to eternal life surrounded by his loving family on December 19, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was 84 years old.
Dale was the beloved husband of Carol Marie (nee Anderson) Hallio and the loving father of Richard Hallio, Kimberly Hallio, Robert Hallio and the late Randy Hallio. He was the fond brother of Janice Campbell, Susan Baake and Nancy Sundstrom, all of Duluth, Minnesota, and the dear brother-in-law of John Anderson. Dale is further survived by ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dale retired after thirty or more years as a heavy equipment mechanic at Bark River Culvert and Equipment Company. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis, along with being stationed from Antarctica to the Virgin Islands. In his free time, Dale was an avid hunter but mostly enjoyed spending time with his ever-growing family.
Visitation will be held for Dale on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at 2:00pm, all at Jelacic Funeral Home, Inc., 5639 West Hampton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53218. Committal prayers will be prayed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 11:00am at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery., 21731 Spring Street (Hwy C), Union Grove, Wisconsin 53182. Please meet at the cemetery office by 10:45am.
