Eldest darling daughter of Celia Cameron (nee Morales) and Ignacio "John" Zarazua. Beloved Wife and Companion of Paul Cebar. Dear Sister of the late Rogelio Zarazua, the late Ignacio John Zarazua Jr. (Kathy), Frank (Laurie) Zarazua, Diana Zarazua-Pennington (Dale), Richard (Paula) Zarazua, Elizabeth (Joe) McCune, and Tino (Claudia) Zarazua. Further survived by a myriad of relatives, friends, colleagues, former students, and her treasured fellow dancers and lovers of music and literature.

Her work history of non-profit service began at the age of 14. Her mission was to improve the lives of poor people and people of color. She worked for those in need of affordable legal services, Native Americans, battered women, those on death row, immigrants and refugees and people on the street. Lessening the burden of others was her goal.

A Celebration of Her Remarkable Life will take place at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery (917 West Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53233) on Sun. May 19th, 2024. Gathering at 3:00 PM with a Eulogy, Prayer and Sharing of Memories at 4:00 PM. Food and Fellowship will follow. Further details about a Celebration of Cynthia's Life in her native Topeka KS is still pending but will be available here shortly.
