Colleen Guthrie (nee O’Mahar) joined eternal life on November 23, 2023. Colleen was born November 14, 1947, and was 76 years old at the time of her passing. She was the fifth child of eleven children. At the time of her difficult birth, she was facing many challenges. Her family was told that she may never walk and have a very difficult life. Through Colleen’s strong will she has accomplished so much.
Colleen was educated at The Wisconsin School for The Deaf in Delavan Wisconsin. From there she moved to Madison, Wisconsin where she lived much of her adult life. Colleen loved children and dogs. Furthermore, she loved the holidays, especially Christmas. Her true love was her deep love of her two sons, Bob and Will.
Colleen is survived by her two sons Bob Guthrie-Harvey (Maria) and Will Guthrie-Harvey. She is furthered survived by her three grandchildewn Aidan, Mylie and Olivia Harvey, brother-in-law David Donahue, sister Gail Hanley, brother Thomas (sister-in-law Linda), brother Terrence, brother Mel (sister-in-law Colleen), and sister Eileen. Colleen is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Colleen was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Josephine (nee Burbach), and further predeceased her sisters Kathleen Donahue, Patricia Bricco, Rory, Ruby, Bridget.

A Chapel Service for Colleen will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on December 6th, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
