Obituary

Christopher "CJ" Rogge, age 33, of Wauwatosa, WI, entered his eternal rest on Saturday, February 7th, 2026. CJ was an incredibly tough and resilient kid, and we say "kid" because he still had so much life ahead of him. His smile was infectious, and his laughter came from his whole being. Dogs are known for sensing a person's spirit, and every dog he met instantly became his best friend. He was easy to talk to, deeply kind, and always there when needed. As a friend beautifully said, "You could call CJ and tell him you'd be there in five minutes, and CJ would show up for whatever you needed."

CJ is survived by his mother, Carolyn Rogge of Wauwatosa, and father figure, Dave Anderson of Milwaukee. He is also survived by his sisters, Monica Rogge and Jenna Rogge of Milwaukee; his brother, Dan (Cassandra) Anderson of West Bend; his grandmothers, Diane Anderson of Iola and Flora Lee of Milwaukee; nephews Nathan Geipel and Danger Anderson; niece Natalie Geipel; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Franklin Lee, two grandfathers, two grandmothers and his 'Grandmaster G' (Geraldine Rogge) who welcomed him with open arms.

Even during difficult times, CJ carried a remarkable light within him—and that is the part we will keep burning. Your battle is over now, and you are finally free.

A visitation will be held for CJ on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm until the time of Mass at 2:00 pm, all at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church, 5400 West Washington Boulevard, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Please join us afterward for a celebration of life at Paulies Fieldtrip, 1430 South 81st Street, West Allis, Wisconsin.
