Christopher John Bourbon

Christopher John Bourbon was lost to us suddenly on October 20, 2023. Chris was 41, and the beloved son of Donna (Mike) Haeuser, loving brother of Jennifer Bourbon, Tabitha Lazaro, and Jason Haeuser, and dear Uncle to Tatyana Blunt, Danasia Blunt, Tenly Bourbon, Hayden Lazaro and Grayson Lazaro. He is further survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends. 

Chris was born to Donna (nee Camden) Haeuser and Daniel (Loree) Bourbon, Sr., in Milwaukee WI, on April 23, 1982. He is preceded in death by his siblings, older brother Danny Bourbon, and younger sister Nicole Bourbon-Blunt. 

Chris attended Menomonee Falls High School and worked hard to obtain his GED in 2015.

Chris loved hanging out with his nieces and his cousin Jaymy, being with family, and playing computer games. He enjoyed his job and was looking forward to his promotion. When he and Danny were younger, they loved to fish and play kickball. He really loved his mom’s spaghetti sauce, lasagna, and looked forward to her Christmas cookies every year. Chris always told her, “I love you”, after every conversation. 

Chris was a hard worker, kind and helpful, and would do anything for anyone. He had a big personality, a great smile, that twinkle in his eye, and a mischievous sense of humor. He will be greatly missed!

Chris’ family would like to extend a special thank you to family and friends for their outpouring of love and support during this very difficult time. 

Visitation: Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 W Hampton Ave, Milwaukee, from 11am to 1pm, with a service to follow at 1 pm.  

Burial: Friday, November 3, 2023, at Sunnyside Cemetery, 19011 W. Main St, Lannon, WI, at 2:30 pm.
