Carmelo Castro

Age 92 years.  Born to eternal life July 23, 2022 at his Milwaukee residence surrounded by loving family.  Beloved husband of Francisca (nee Santiago).  Dear father of Wilfredo Castro and William (Carol) Castro.  Loving grandfather of Melinda Castro, Tony Castro, Joseph Castro, Nicholas Castro and Diana Ramirez.  Proud great grandfather of Clark Castro.  Brother of Jose Castro and Angel Luiz Castro both in Puerto Rico.  Further survived by other relatives and friends .

Visitation Friday, July 29, 2022 at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 7301 West Nash Street, Milwaukee from 11:00 AM until Services at 12:30 PM.  Interment with military honors following the Services.

Carmelo was a Korean War Veteran who proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Carmelo was employed for many years at the Pfister and Vogel Tannery in Milwaukee.

Memorials appreciated in Carmelo's name to Alzheimer's Association -  Wisconsin Chapter, 620 S. 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214.
