Barbara Rae Thompson

Age 86 years.  Born to life November 29, 1933 in Milwaukee daughter of Raymond Schweitz and Gertrude Waitzmann Schweitz.  Born to eternal life June 20, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee.  Beloved wife of Donald E. Thompson for 64 years.  Dear mother of Jeffrey (Catey) Ott-Thompson, John (Lisa) Thompson, Patricia (Rick) Cranford, Barbara (Brian) Roethle, Linda (Daniel) Martinez, Laura (the late Greg) Slaske, and Peter (Beverly) Thompson.  Preceded in death by her son Donald S. Thompson.  Further survived by 14 loving grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Saturday, June 27 at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 West Hampton Avenue from 9:30 AM until the Services at 11:30 AM.  Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Barbara loved the color blue. If you are able, please wear something "blue" if you will be attending her service.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.

Barbara was a Washington High School graduate and was employed for many years at both US Bank and Boston Store.
