Beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Barbara's beautiful life on earth came to a peaceful end on April 19th, 2025, at the age of 87. Barbara's spirit has now rejoined David, her husband of 67 years, with whom she shared a love that time could not diminish, and their daughter Karen, who preceded them in 2016.

Barbara found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. Together, she and David raised three daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in a loving home nestled in the country. After retiring early, they embraced a fulfilling life, splitting their time between their home in Arizona and summers in Wisconsin.

Barbara is survived by her daughters and sons in law: Debra Kulow (Ken), the late Karen Rachlis(Ken), Elizabeth George (Ken); her grandchildren: Lindsey VanHulla (James) and McKayley George; her great-grandchildren: Marlee Makoutz and Maxon Kulow; her siblings, James Skelton (Kay) and Rick Skelton (Laurie); and many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in her passing, her siblings, Judy Muecke and Mary Skelton.

Barbara touched the lives of everyone she met in significant ways with her sweet gentle nature and her spiritual soul. Her generous heart was evident in her warm hugs, cheerful and radiant smile. She loved sharing her joys and teaching them to all, with every breath she had. Her art, cooking, canning from their glorious garden, reading to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always said it was life's simple pleasures and love in God that matters. Barbara was pure love who lived to make the world a more beautiful place for everyone of us every day. Her family describes Barbara as Pure Love.
