Anthony "Tony" Joseph Sedlmeier

Tony was born to life on February 6, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Anton and Anna (nee Zieglmeier) Sedlmeier. He entered eternal life on December 23, 2021, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin at age 84 years. A graduate of Marquette University High School, Tony was a proud member of Teamsters Local 200, working as a warehouseman for various companies. He also served his country as a reserve in the US Navy. Tony married Carol J. Arnsdorff and they settled on Milwaukee's northwest side to raise their family. They were active members of Corpus Christi Church and later at St. James Church. Family meant everything to Tony.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents Anton and Anna, along with his beloved wife Carol, two of his daughters, Catherine Noggle and Jean Marie Sedlmeier and son-in-law Michael Noggle. He is survived by his loving children, Mark (Jean) Sedlmeier, Michael (Sharon) Sedlmeier, Mary Etzkin and Christine Sedlmeier and his daughter-in-law Anne. Tony is the cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Melissa, Matthew, Andrew, Samuel, Benjamen, Amanda and Michelle. He is further survived by 7 dear great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Tony on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 9:30am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, all at St. James Catholic Church, W220 N6570 Town Line Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Tony will be laid to rest next to his wife Carol at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin following the Mass. 

The family would like to thank the entire team at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital ICU for the compassionate care they provided Tony in his final days.
