Age 100 years. 4/4/1923 - 2/18/2024 Son of Michael "Marion" Cebar and Alice "Emma" Cebar (nee Duerr). Born in Waukesha. Raised in West Allis. Graduated St. Aloysius Elementary. Enjoyed attending Nathan Hale, Graduated West Allis Central High School.
Served as an Army Combat Medic in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
Graduated from Wisconsin Teachers College on the GI Bill.
Earned his Master's Degree from UW Stevens Point.
Married teacher, Dorothy Karner, and raised son, Paul (musician) and daughter, Mary (teacher) with steadfast wholehearted encouragement. Taught for more than three decades in the Fox Point - Bayside Schools and briefly in Escanaba, Michigan.

Tony coached football, baseball, volleyball and track in Fox Point and at St. Stephen Martyr School in Milwaukee.
Founded and directed the A.V. Club at Fox Point / Stormonth.
Preceded in death by his wife, parents, sisters Beatrice, Virginia, Charlotte, Joan and Mary, and brothers, Donald and Robert. Survived by his son, Paul (Cynthia Zarazua), daughter, Mary (John Cebar-Stano), grandson Tony, sister Beverly (Jim Koceja), and many other dear relatives, former students and friends.
Visitation Friday, March 8, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 3722 S. 58th Street Milwaukee from 3:30 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 5:00 PM. A meal and sharing of memories following Mass in the church hall.
Committal prayers and military honors Monday, March 11 at 1:00 PM at Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, Wisconsin.
